Snapshot: Winter in Tahoe NF
Last week I went up to Tahoe NF for fieldwork after 40" or so of snow had been deposited throughout the region. The weather was nice and I got a few good pictures. The first picture was taken on the snowmobile ride out to our upper meteorological station and the last 2 were taken on the ride back to the truck.

i think sunsets and sunrises are always nice --- unless you are stuck in the dark after sunset
